National Schools Film Week is the biggest event of its kind in the World with 390,000 children watching over 200 films at 2,300 screenings in 500 locations throughout the UK!
We programme a range of classic, current and forthcoming films from around the World to address topical issues and, more broadly, the world young people currently inhabit – shown from a variety of different perspectives.
The 2009 event closed on November 6th. Information about next year will be available from January.
"Both staff and students really enjoyed both films and they provided plenty of discussion and opportunities for follow up work. I was reminded once again of just how much can be gained from being together and having fun outside of the classroom setting. "
Mrs Elspeth Hannen, Headteacher, Little Kittens Small School, Amersham
