To coincide with The National Literacy Trust’s Year of Reading, this month’s Film Ed Focus looks at books that have made it to the cinema. Book adaptations are nothing new, but what is it like seeing your characters turned into characters on the big screen? Or how do you adapt a well-known novel without upsetting its fans?
