Kung Fu Panda: The Task

THE TASK

The task was to create a 30 second (max.) radio advert. In groups of 5, pupils wrote a persuasive voiceover script telling people about the upcoming release of Kung Fu Panda and record it alongside their own sound effects and music.

This was a unique, creative, collaborative activity designed to tie-in with the Primary Framework for Literacy (Persuasive Texts) (link opens in new window), allowing opportunities for valuable Speaking & Listening and ICT in the classroom. You can download the full Teachers' Notes word doc here.

THE PRIZE

The 5 winning pupils will have their voices recorded by the producers for the UK theatrical release of Kung Fu Panda for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear their voices in the film alongside Jack Black, Angelina Jolie and Jackie Chan.
