Films for KS1: First Outings Teachers' Pages - Introduction

Children in Key Stage 1, particularly in their first year of school, have probably watched many films, both on television and on video, but may not have had the chance to see a film at the cinema. This is undoubtedly a very different experience and one that children will remember. During National Schools Film Week which takes place every October, you have the opportunity to take your class to a series of carefully selected U certificate children’s films, ensuring that the experience will be as pleasurable as possible for all those first timers.
