Poetry of the First World War is an exploration of some of the best-known poems of First World War poets including Wilfred Owen (Anthem for Doomed Youth), Siegfried Sassoon (Attack), Rupert Brooke (The Soldier) and Lawrence Binyon (For the Fallen).

Pre-1914 Poetry is an exploration of some of the poems featured in the AQA Anthology (Pre-1914), including: Patrolling Barnegat (Walt Whitman), The Eagle (Alfred Tennyson), Invernaid (Gerard Manley Hopkins), and Sonnet – I Love to See the Summer (John Clare).

These interactive CD-ROM focuses on the moving image as a means to enhance and extend the understanding of poetry through images. These resources explore the writing creation and therefore understanding of both the moving image and the printed text as a tool for understanding and representing the written word through images.
