	This interactive CD ROM develops students' understanding of film language by exploring concepts of narrative and genre through looking at the concept of parallel editing. Working with a selection of rushes of a simple narrative shot in a number of different ways, students are tasked with cutting a sequence together which fulfills a certain brief- building tension for example. Students are encouraged to explore not only the effects of the visual but also how sound and pacing can affect the message.
