Articles on Anti Bullying Week
Anti Bullying Week
At the start of November we launched our first anti-bullying resource, released to coincide with the national Anti-Bullying Week, 19-23 November. The teaching tool is free, available all year round and offers teachers suggestions of suitable films such as Arthur and the Invisibles, This is England and Sket. The teaching tool suggests ways into deconstructing meaning in film texts and includes film content to stimulate discussion and reflection around the very sensitive and difficult topic of bullying. You can read more about how film can help to tackle bullying in this Guardian blog, which argues that film empowers young people to tackle bullying.
