Educational resource
Designed for science, art & design, literacy ages 9 – 11 the resource has three sections; the Power of Science, Grey Matters and Downloads. ‘The Power of Science’ section uses the film’s message as the basis of a series of resources on forced and electricity whilst ‘Grey Matters’ is an interactive activity that challenges children to carefully recreate the characters of the film using black and white shading only. The Downloads sections provide a range of learning activity worksheets, and the Frankenweenie Big Writing project, which takes advantage of the irrestibly quirky way the story is told on screen to inspire children to write independently and expertly in the style of the film.
