Film Education screened Jane Eyre to schools in London just before the film was released in cinemas as part of National Schools Film Week 2011.

Producer Alison Owens joined us for a special Q&A after the film to discuss the adaptation and what it is like to be a film producer.
Adaptation of the novel by Charlotte Brontë. After being orphaned Jane Eyre is placed under the care of her cruel, wealthy Aunt who sends her away to a boarding school for young girls. After leaving school Jane becomes a governess at Thornfield Hall where her relationship with her Mr Rochester threatens to reveal a dark, terrible secret.
