Educational Programming Hub meetings
Information for Teachers
As part of our ongoing efforts to engage teachers with their local cinemas Film Education would like to invite you to participate in our Education Programming Hubs. The purpose of the Education Hubs is to share best practice, raise awareness for the cinemas development with their local schools and to engage with Film Education in its core values of schools based learning about and through film as well as enabling schools to attend a wider range of film product at their local cinema.
The participating teachers will have the opportunity to attend programming hub meetings to discuss the films they would like to see with their students as well as receive priority booking for the screenings you help to programme.
Nick Walker, the Director of National Schools Film Week, will be attending each meeting as well as staff from the cinema’s Education team and other local teachers. If you would like to attend any of the following meetings please email iang@filmeducation.org with your name, details of your school and the name of the cinema you would like to attend. All the meetings will be from 4.30 - 6.30pm unless otherwise stated.
9 May - Derby Quad
15 May - Belfast QFT (4.15 - 6pm)
16 May - Bristol Watershed
29 May - Sheffield Showroom
