Film Futures: industry career days for students
Day 1 Schedule
Date: 20th November 2012
Registration at 9.30am - Ends at 15.30pm
Day 1 covered; introduction to acquisitions, the role of international sales, the role of the sales agent, introduction to business affairs, film law and contracts, getting the film into cinemas, distribution strategies, film sales, revenue streams, business models, technical film delivery.
The roles linked to all of these areas were explored throughout the day.
The day also included many opportunities for students to ask questions of industry professionals from a range of these areas.

Our training events focus on giving teachers information and guidance on using film in education. Alongside the digital video training we offer nationwide, we also organise regional INSET days, which can help teachers with any level of experience get to grips with using film within the curriculum.
