Congratulations to:
David Robinson, 15, from Ringwood
Comprehensive School in Hampshire
The judges had
a tough time picking an overall winner but David’s
excellent radio advertisement was praised by the judges
for its professional production, skilful editing and appropriate
register. The advert very successfully fulfilled the competition
brief to highlight the impact of piracy and intellectual
property theft on the creative industries.
We are also delighted to announce that, due
to the exceptional nature of the entries this year, we will
also be awarding Second and Runners Up prizes to the
following entrants:
Joint Second Prize Winners:
Emily Hazleton (16), Farnborough Sixth Form College - poster
campaign
Caius Eugene (18), Waddesdon Church of England
School - poster campaign
Joint Runners Up:
Scott Lafferty (16); Christopher Duffy (14);
Jamie Smith & Michael
Sinclair (13), St Columba’s High School - filmed advert
Jack Borrill (12) and Andrew Calder (12),
Lenzie Academy - filmed advert
The
response has been overwhelming, with entries coming in
from
across the UK from all age ranges.
The quality of
the
work
produced
by all ages in a range of media has been
very
impressive: students have clearly worked very
hard
on this
project and the results are testament
to
their
creativity,
imagination and detailed knowledge of the issue.
