As a young owl, Soren’s father, Noctus Alba, would tell the stories that Soren loved to hear. Noctus told of an order of knightly owls, from a kingdom called Ga’Hoole who would fly into blackness each night to perform noble deeds. Soren longed to be one of these owls – the Guardians of Ga’Hoole and he truly believed that they existed beyond the story.

Little did he know that one day, he would meet the Guardians and fly with them.
