CPD Events
Film Education offers high-quality curriculum-focused CPD workshops for teaching professionals, combining both critical and creative aspects of digital media.
Focusing on the latest film and media developments within the Primary National Strategy and the National Curriculum, our workshops help teachers raise levels of engagement and attainment through the confident and creative use of film in their classrooms.
Past events include our ever-popular Film Industry day-conference, our hugely valuable residential CP3 conference, Using Film to Raise Standards in Literacy (Primary) and a two-day course on Digital Video for the Classroom.
Upcoming Training Events:
Film Education will be running a seminar and workshops at this year's annual conference of the National Association for the Teaching of English
Programmed especially for teachers and lecturers of film and media, the Film Industry Conference offered an exclusive 'behind-the-scenes' audience with the people who bring you the biggest blockbusters and the best in specialised cinema from around the world.
Film Education, FILTA and the Manchester Metropolitan University are pleased to be able to offer a teacher training event for MFL teachers of French Spanish, German and Italian.

CPD
Our training events focus on giving teachers information and guidance on using film in education. Alongside the digital video training we offer nationwide, we also organise regional INSET days, which can help teachers with any level of experience get to grips with using film within the curriculum.
