Film Education held a special screening of Sket during National Schools Film Week in October 2011.
The students who attended the screening had the chance to partake in a Q&A with the film’s director Nirpal Bhogal, and actors Riann Steele (Shaks), Aimee Kelly (Kayla) and Adelayo Adedayo (Kerry)
Also speaking were Jennifer Blake and her colleague Tracy from the Safe ’N’ Sound Youth Project in Peckham, where they work hard to help young people find an alternative to street crime and gang culture. Safe ‘N’ Sound helped to advise Nirpal during the making of the film.
