The second of these official hearings in the film takes place in the Supreme Court in Pretoria and during this, some interesting testimony is offered by a geneticist.  Read the following scene from SKIN’s final script. The statement by Doctor Sparks is very brief.  Your task is to develop his testimony into a longer speech in which he explores his ideas more fully.  To help you with this you will find links to a number of useful sites addressing the issue of race and genes. You should also refer to the quotation from the biography When She Was White and some of the other historic bullet-points which fill in some of the historic reasons underlying the mixed South African genetic pool out of which Sandra emerged.
