Amistad

Based on the true story of Sengbe Pieh. 53 captive
Africans aboard the slave ship 'La Amistad' break free
of their shackles, arm themselves and take charge of
the ship reclaiming their freedom. However the
'Amistad' is captured by an American navel ship and
the Africans are put on trial for the murder of the
crew.
