Creating your radio ‘package’
In order to create your feature item you will need the following:
- Access to a simple sound editing suite on your computer;
- The resources provided - over 50 minutes of recorded material in which Anthony Fabian responds to a variety of questions;
You are also going to need some way to digitally capture your voice – perhaps an MP3 player - so that your interview can have an introduction and also so that we can hear you asking the questions ahead of the bits of the pre-prepared interview you choose to use.
Before you listen to the interview read the following brief details summarizing Anthony Fabian’s pre-prepared Q/A session. There are over 40 minutes of recordings here and you are only expected to produce a interview three minutes long – so clearly you need to decide in advance which subjects you want to concentrate on and then focus all your editing skills on those parts of the cached sound files. We have included the timings of each section to make your finding them easier.
